Cileartist. I do head shots for the movie industry, portraits, fine art, illustration for a magazine, advertising, and am in the process of doing a photography book with another photographer. I love to blog and write. I work in different mediums but for the moment am focused on digital photography.
About my artwork
I am into the symbolic story themes of photography. I usually work with people, but not limited to it. My creativity comes from deep in my soul and is very emotive and evocative. My ideas comes from dreams, other artist, reading, writing, music, and sometimes my own life. What ever subject I use, I am very passionate about it. Update March 29/08. I sent for all my work that has been stored in Ohio since Katrina . This weekend I am in a group show and brought my mono-print work. I also did some abstracts on canvas and enjoyed doing them as well. Dare to be different. It broadens your horizon.
Artists I like
Ansel Adams ,Diane Arbus, Wayne Bullock, Evans Walker, Man Ray,
Ruth Bernhard, Georgia Okeefe, Charles Frank, John Laughlin, Josephine Sacabo, and the list goes on.
Interests
Human nature. Boundaries of the soul. Jung and other's. I am interested in Psychology of everything. I am also interested in feeling, seeing, touching, smelling, loving, and breathing. This is when I know I am alive.

Cross My Heart

The disguised cross was used in early Christianity to prevent persecution. This was called crux dissimulata . Some symbols included an anchor and are still seen in some church porticos today. The Chi-Rho was a symbol that looked like a wheel with an X and P superimposed over the first letter. That was the first two Greek letters of Christ., The traditional crux immissa resembled the cross that Jesus died on.
