- artist my whole life long. My education was leaded by my passion for art and doing art in several ways, language and educational science/psychology and also by my love for architecture .....All directions have in some way to do with relations between human beings, with the way people feel and influence their life with language, education and architecture....Missleaded or successfull communication, influences on - and change of behaviour and the intraction from architectural forms on to daily life structures ,mood and artwork --- all those aspects I try to reflect in my painting and writing.
- About my artwork
- My artwork is mainly pushed by the idea of creating a relaxed atmosphere which causes positive emotion ....may be my own desire for this feeling and for an optimistical view on to life. I love to paint light and airy.....try to catch wind and light, the running and the transitoriness on all levels of being....
I write in poetic form about life, how it pretends to be and how it is in reality, behind the curtain of official moral and formal correctness. Also I create poetic fairytales for children, in harmony with my illustrations to it --- to watch on my webpage, listed above. (On my page I change the contents in short distances.) From there you can get to my saatchi-webpage, which also contains some poetry and painting-work.
- Artists I like
- Because of all this mentioned above, I love the poet Hermann Hesse, the painter Chagall, Heinrich Vogeler and some ancient and contemporary Illustrators . Fauvism, the free use of colour, and Art Nouveau with its fluently lines and its nearness to organic forms and nature are the ways of expression, that touch me. Some contemporary artists from saatchi gallery are also on this list.

You're the first one to be really honest about my paintings :)
Many people have a strong feeling looking at them, not only because of the palete but also because of the size... (from 170 cm x 160 cm until 190 cm x 130 cm, goes arround there).
I'm working in a portrait of my girlfriend (170 cm x 160 cm)... The size question has to do with the necessity of movement and brush strokes wide and strong. It might sound like drama, but painting these subjects it's almost like survival for me.
But I fond such confort in your photos...from time to time I go check it out. It's a get away from my colours, my brushes, my drawings...
I'm a bit of a selfish/egocentric person and I feel bad about it, because I only can live "inside" my studio and the only true escape is to see, apreciate and learn from other people...
