- During Art Basel Miami Beach 2007, Stuart Comer and I were interviewed on WPS1 about the state of video in contemporary art. I said "uh" a lot.
The interview invitation was extended by my friend, Eli Sudbrack, who put on a hell of a show at Art Positions. He's a fabulous, energetic person, and it's a privilege to know him.
I collect video art, though I lack the funds necessary to play in the big leagues--so I stick with large number editions, commercially available titles, and the kindness of my artist friends. I also depend on sites such as this, tank.tv, ubuweb, and others, all of whom are making these amazing works available to wider audiences.
