I am...: A writer and editor...my husband is the artist!

About my artwork: Those are Roger Magendie's paintings above. He didn't start painting until we moved here 4 years ago. He's just beginning to take a few classes from a local artist, but mostly he's just following whatever comes as he does it.

Artists I like: Van Gogh. Local artists from Asheville area, Texas, and South Louisiana. There are others, but I wrote what immediately came to mind. Roger Magendie!

Interests: Writing, editing, nature, photography, ... people from afar.

The centre of the artworld is: nowhere and everywhere

The paintings I uploaded were done by my husband, Roger Magendie - not by me! He's the artist - just beginning to paint over the last year or two. He'd not tried painting until we moved here 4 years ago, and at first, he was tentative about it - I told him - just paint whatever you paint and the more you do it, maybe it will be like writing, the more you find your "voice" and "style" -
