BLUEBIRD ART HOUSE AND ART&ARTISTS LA are pleased to announce the 1st INTERNATIONAL JURIED COMPETITION 2009.

Open to all artists in all fine arts media we seek to recognize outstanding quality and diversity in the arts.

The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.

Entry Deadline February 15th 2009.

AWARD

A solo show next winter 2009 at Bluebird Art House and $1500 to the winner. 1 work in the show for each one of the 3 runner up.

Mess caffe would be good as I live just around the corner but I work during the day and they close Mess at 5pm or I could make time on Friday 12 noon? Or in Wheaterspoons after 5pm any day? my email changed thousand of times maupamaupa@google.com is still in use

Cheryl you don't have to add me - I added you already, you just have to accept my add. Go to the top left hand of the page and you will see a little envelope and a person sign. Click on the person and then press accept. You can also send internal messages too.

By the way the raw stuff you had forgotten about has a real edge to it, like your old stuff. It seems somehow more powerful and less contrived. This makes it more emotional feeling, though I do considered that you may have been trying to remove some of the emotion from your work. Does that make sense?
