If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Drawing, Painting
I am...
a figurative artist, who likes to focus on drawings/paintings inspired by the urban world I see.
About my artwork
In my work, I’m doing images partially inspired by the American artists that were a part of the “Ash Can School”. My work deals with images inspired by people and places that I see around me, in the city of Los Angeles. I like to think of myself as a photographer who happens to draw.
Artists I like
Honore' Daumier, Francisco Goya, Egon Schiele, Peter Paul Rubens, Robert Crumb, Jean-Francois Millet, George Grosz, Lucian Freud, Theophile Steinlein, George Bellows, John Sloan, Reginal Marsh, George Segal, Ralph Bakshi, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Andre Kertesz, Brassai, Walker Evans, Diane Arbus, Jeff Wall, Richard Misrach, Andreas Gursky, Wim Wenders, Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, The Coen Brothers, David Lynch, Hokusai, Edgar Degas, Henri De Toulouse Lautrec, Eduoart Manet, Auguste Renoir, Fragonard, Watteau
