About my artwork: My practice investigates conceptualisation, space, duration and sound through the deconstruction of these elements and their historical basis. Modern visual & sound art theory is integral to the foundation for my practice. The fusion of object/architecture and sound is important in my work and often the sound originates from the process of making a particular object. This year, my practice has moved slightly to focus more on spatial, environmental, and digitised sound.

Open to all artists in all fine arts media we seek to recognize outstanding quality and diversity in the arts. The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.
