About my artwork: “I am inspired by architectural design. My paintings start
with distillation of place and by finding simple underlying
architectural forms. I am searching for things that are
static and stable in environments that control how we
navigate the world. I intentionally leave a history behind
as i compile layers of paint. This not only informs the
viewer of the process, but encourages them to feel the
passing sense of time and space. “

Artists I like: Nitsche, Diebenkorn, Mondrian, Irwin, De Maria, Smithson, Buren, Andre, Morris, Stella, Richter, Polke... oh - so many more...

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: Christo & Jean Claude's piece has started in Colorado....
