I have been married for 41 years. My wife is a Tasmanian, aged 60. We’ve had 3 children: ages in 2008-42, 38 and 31. I am 64, a Canadian who moved to Australia in 1971 and have written 3 books--all available on the internet. I retired from full-time teaching in 1999, from part-time teaching in 2003 and from volunteer/casual teaching/work in 2005 after 35 years in classrooms. I am a writer and poet and I write about artists and the arts.

Cezanne, Picasso, Michelangelo, Rembrandt and many others.

Interests

Reading and writing in the social sciences and humanities(the sub-list in these two general categories would be too long to post here; for example: philosophy and religion, history and psychology, sociology and media studies, etc.) Other specific interests and activities include: walking, sleeping, eating and drinking, breathing properly, my family, my health, my wife’s garden and even some of my domestic chores. Beautiful things: buildings and people, nature and objets d’art; ideas and some items in and of the print and electronic media.

What exhibitions are good at the moment?

I am in no position to comment at the moment. I am a retired lecturer in the early years(60 to 65) of late adulthood(60 to 80). I hope to drop into this site from time to time.
