- Formverk is a non-profit, artist run exhibition place, an area for cultural events and a project room, established 2004.
The purpose is to show national and international contemporary art and to realize artistic exchange and cooperation.
Formverk allows experimentation in collaboration with artists and public.
Our purpose is to realize ideas, develop dialogues and having fun!
Formverk is situated in Nyköping, 100 km south of Stockholm, and is organised as an association. The artists and curators behind Formverk is Niclas Hallberg and Stina Pehrsdotter.

NON STOP VIDEO ART 2008
During Spring 2008 Formverk made an invitation to video artists all over the world, and we got answers from a lot of authers in different countries.
We have made a selection, and choose seven video artists, represented with nine works.
Formverk has put together a 40-minutes show looping with a wall projection.
The selected works are highly individual with different expressions, and the artists use the possibilities of the technique in variuos ways.
We also show a totally new video project, instigated by Kika Nicolela, video artist from Brazil. Artists from USA, India, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, South Africa, Norway, Germany and Sweden participates. The project has been realized in two weeks only.
The Exquisite Corpse Video Project has its Premiere as a video installation at Formverk, and has a World Wide Opening on Formverks site www.formverk.se and on
