I am...

A sculptor/video/performance artist based in Glasgow making work around themes of self-mythology and sexuality.

About my artwork

Text is key in evolving my work and it often takes the form of performance to camera, neon light and sculptural installation.
I seek to interrogate the complexities of human relationships, often with relation to the abject and uncanny, attempting to engender by work with pathos and tender absurdity.

Artists I like

Bas Jan Ader, Bruce Nauman, Sophie Calle, Sylvia Plath, Vivian Stanshall, Philip Larkin, Paul McCarthy, Bob and Roberta Smith...too many more to name, so many. Art and words make my heart too full.

Interests

Writing, books, cinema.
