there is a background, but then the man is made up of puzzle pieces, that are then painted.

It is actually one of my favorites too.

Hi
Thank you, your work interesting .
I am also searching for the contradictions of the human form as it searches for its own modern identity in a physical,
I note you are new here there is many options out of order in artreview now,

Hey Rogelio,

Thanks a million for the positive comment. I will let the artist know of this and know this will please her much. Love Lust & Beyond, (which is actually now renamed to Love, Lust & Liberation) is actually a collection of 14 paintings that were made for a book of poetry.

The one in particular that you liked, was that the puzzleman?

Best regards
Mikkel

Dear Rogelio,

I love your piece 'Portrait of Franchesca'. I think that is probably the strongest painting you have done yet. One day your art dealer will be selling that for alot - it really hits me in my gut and says 'real dark emotion coming out as paint' Wow!!!!!

Also I took a look at your website. I love what you have done to your statement. I really felt you have put the emphasis on the brutal, the primitive. (As obvious your work is intellectual). People want the feeling and I think you really nail it home. I looked on you slide show and I have a new favourit - it is number 8 on your webvsit ethat says 'no title' and has a portrait of a man with a green shirt. I really hope you do an exhibition in the UK!!!

Best from Luke ::~)

well.. I like it.. I think being pragmatic is the best way to find ourselves as artists...
I will share some experimentation as I get some images... you let me know what you think of them...

Bests,

Saludos,

Guillermina
