If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Conceptual, Digital, Drawing, Installation, Painting, Photography, Video
I am...
reclusive, private and hopeless at PR.
About my artwork
I've been told it's eclectic, does this mean with no direction, a collection of unrelated objects and thoughts?
Artists I like
Rembrant, Helen Chadwick, Leonardo, James Turrell, Max Ernst, Durer, Seiko Kinoshita, sculpture from Zimbabwe, Cornelia Parker, Srah Spanton, George Henry Longly, Paula Rego, Paula Kirby, Ann Fogerty, Erte, Oron Katts, ............... I'm sure there are loads more depends which book I read next, exhibition I go to, or friend I visit
Interests
I love dogs, dog walking is a good time for contemplation. I'm interested in how human embryos implant and have a background (plus quite alot of publications) in biomedical research. I'm interested in the differences between people, and how immune systems work. What is me and you? Main interest at the moment is developing a collaborative project with Sarah Spanton, wish us luck we are at the stage of applying to galleries before finding for some money for exhibition.
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
no idea but Sheffield 08 opens on Friday
The centre of the artworld is
nowhere and everywhere
