Why we should all be painting pictures of dogs

Phil, I don't see any monochromatic paintings on the list, does that mean my 7 years project goes in the basement when it finishes? Thanks for sharing the piece! -Wruff

I am...
Michael Chang was found by a polar bear expedition in a block of ice floating around in Hudson Bay near the town Sanikiluaq in 1973. He was 7 years old when a curator at the Guggenheim Museum in New York adopted him. 4 years later the curator lost the boy in a game of chess in Union Square Park. The winner was a chess-grandmaster from South America on visit incognito in The Big Apple. The chess-grandmaster took the kid on a scruffy old plane and flew home to Brazil. They landed in Boa Vista International Airport where the chess-grandmaster forgot the young boy in a restroom.
In the streets of Brazil the young Michael found a big box of crayons. A woman smoking a cigar told him that: 'Life is like a box of crayons' and then she took his virginity. Years later Michael Chang escaped the old cigar-smoking woman and tried to make it to Denmark in a small boat via London. In London in a Pub at Finchley Road in Hampstead Michael celebrated the successful trip across the ocean until 2 am. At 3 am drunk and on skates he crashed the famous art and design school Central Saint Martins College. In a book about art history in the library at Southampton Row he saw a picture of his prehistoric mom. It was only a sculpture but he could remember the shape of 'mom'.
Now an alumni of CSM at 6 am on the train to Denmark he met two lovely Danish ladies. They liked to chat. When he finally arrived in Copenhagen the two Danish ladies decided to show him how loving the Danes are to strangers. This kind of heart-warmth made Michael want to live in Denmark forever and invite all the strangers from foreign cultures he knows. And it also made Michael want to be an artist. Rapidly he picked up some basic drawing skills, said out loud "I AM AN ARTIST!" and added "PERHAPS!” Then he bought himself a garage in Copenhagen where he lives today – and works and works and works and works...
About my artwork
Well first of all I, and then I. After a while it kind of does that and then I. But I really hate when that happens so I. And after a few days I kind of like that I've. But then I go... "what the fuck, who fuckin' cares shit fuck fuck!!" and then there's really nothing else to do than. Then I think of quitting but simply can't because I'm an addict. It's not that I don't know what I'm doing or why I do it, it's just as if I. Do you know that feeling?
Artists I like
There was this bloke, can't remember his name but he was really good. I liked that about him. I don't think he was an artist though, but who cares. Well he created heaven and earth, Alan something or was it Richard? Anyway, he did it all in only 7 days and then he disappeared for good. Oh, no, he was spotted on a hike in Norway, or was it Hampstead Heath wearing oliver people shades and a blue pair of wellingtons. Sorry for the lack of information but I simply can't remember his name.
Interests
Anonymity - I never ever want to be famous, ever! I'm going to live my life, love a few people, take care of my children, make a few paintings and leave without any one noticing I was here.
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
I really like the dishes being exhibited in my kitchen sink right now. The show is still on for several weeks and it is only getting more and more interesting to look at.
The centre of the artworld is
New York

Vehicles

The gap between things seems to have the quality of a vehicle. Vehicles take one thing to another thing. Vehicles can be actions. Actions like painting, reading, writing, looking, thinking, blogging and so on. Every vehicle leaves one place and arriv… Continue

Thanks Micheal, Myself and Frances are working around the clock on this whilst still doing our day jobs and being single mums.

We have a few independent students from all over the Uk also working in sending data out about the project.

It's great to see artists actually joining the group now without me having to go looking, but I still look and send out random invites here and there.

Well Micheal, it was great to see your work and I wish you all the very best for the future.

Your random craziness isn't so random, nor so crazy. I'm moved by the way you've captured the continuous haphazard of existence, but move with human presence in it.
By the way, I'm glad you were discovered in that ice block, but, if we're you believe the most messianic global warmers, you would have melted out anyway, to a completely different life.
