I am...

a London-based Italian artist. I was born in Sant'Elpidio a Mare, in le Marche region in 1970. I studied painting at the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in Bologna between 1989 and 1994. In 1999 I moved to London where I gained a Master Degree in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Between 1998 and 2000 I was a guest tutor at HISK, Institute for Fine Arts, Antwerp. Since 2007 I have been teaching Art and Design at Kensington and Chelsea College, London. In 2008 I obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. I divide my time between teaching art and producing it.

About my artwork

With my photographs I would like to highlight the subtle sense of violence in our deeply hierarchical society.
