I finally was getting around to setting up an account on Plaxo and then noticed they were acquired by Comcast Interactive Media this past July. Typically I find it difficult to simply boycot specific properties owned by larger corporations for which I may not agree with their actions. This case is different for me though. [...]

I've been meaning to say for some time that I am fascinated by your rather beautiful video "Metaverse" which I have watched SEVERAL times - I keep returning to it, both on this site and your own. You are certainly engaged in some interesting areas - the idea of art on Second Life has great potential (I've seen some before on a German university site, but can't find the reference) though to be honest I have enough trouble in the First (how many times have you heard that?!)
Anyway, you prompted me to play with my own recently bought Nokia (very low-budget) which I'm enjoying, and I think will be creatively helpful - I'm a bit of a low-resolution fan as I translate (not quite the right word, but...) the images into painting.
So
a) thanks for posting "Metaverse" on here for me to see (I'm finding this site a great way of encountering work that is new to me), and
b) do you have any more videos like that? I can't seem to find any.
Greetings from Virtual Silesia - Division UK
Mik
PS. If you're interested in seeing my first humble Nokia video efforts - both landscape based, including from my old model iMac screen of a live-streaming webcam a thousand miles away from me in Silesia - check out my "Research Page" on the Goldfactory spin off from ArtReview at: -

Technically pathetic, I'm sure, but I'm hoping you might appreciate the ideas.
