1980 Sven Egert, Born in Chur, (CH)

Sven Egert, with artist name Seven, was born on 24 September 1980 in Chur. In 1993, during his school years, he began his nightly Graffiti tours through the streets of Chur and surrounding area. During this time, he mastered the art of Graffiti.

In 2001, after many years of predominantly illegal spraying, Seven changed his focus to become a completely legal artist. Today he prefers to use a combination of techniques, focussing on airbrush, painting and collage.

In addition to facades, walls, clubs and hotels across New Zealand, Indonesia (Bali), and Italy, Seven has autographed a diverse range of projects in Switzerland, from a circus caravan to office rooms, nightclubs, car parks and a tennis court.

Faces play a significant role in most of his new work. Most pieces involve airbrush-sprayed faces combined with his experimental decollage layering technique. For many years he has been successfully refining this unique art-form. It is the success of the artist that has allowed the melding of the spray-gun with his technique, developing an independent style.

Seven lives and works in Lucerne and Italy.
