Hello Thom thank you very much for appreciating my work .I use mostly acrylics on the canvas then layers of collage which I have transfered on very thin Japanese paper 'Tengusha',sort of silk paper. I am not into computer ;I wish I was somtime!!the fact that like to use typo would have made life easier. At first they look like ONE print but infact it's several layers I find the works gets more body & depth like that. The hangings were done on the same basis on unmounted nessel, coated first .I was looking for a transparent material but was difficult in the church ,due to the windows. The writing on the walls are cutout used on cars ,windows etc. They were quite difficult to adhere on the dusty surface of the walls .But to my surprise they're still there! The new fabric you mention sounds really good & versatile.I'll have a look here.By the way I didn't mean ONLY no 5!!!!I think that particular one has so much honesty &helplessness with those shoes standing shyly like the little girls in front of the ballet bar...It goes straight to the heart, mine at least.Have a nice & creative day!
Thanks, dear Roslan, for comment, this is small piece, ca 25x25, but thick,-- you must know, that I just again enjoyed viewing your pictures, just be happy creative, cheers Marta
I'm not mad and I hope I wasn't rude, Thom - just confused. I'd guess we'd call this non comprehension "inter-occidentalism" ?
In god's own truth I'd never heard of red couch photography or a panoramic algorithm. Maybe it's because at heart I'm a painter and not a photographer - maybe I've just been away from American culture for too long. And to think I used to live on Franklin and Vine! Thanks for the info and the compliment. So a half and half shot ignores the rule of thirds? Dumb.
Thanks for your comment Thom, but I'm half way up a mountain and out of the swim of things. What is:
1. "a 1/2 & 1/2 image"?
2. "a Red Couch symbolism"?
3. "A true ?Panoramic Algorithm"?
Do tell, as whilst I have no wish to be rude, at present I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Thanks in anticipation.
Glad you wanted to stop by and see my Paro Valeo y Muto (Prepare to be Strong & Transform).......it's one of my favorite surreal creations I've done. E' LINDO!
Thanks for the fly-by.........IT IS ALWAYS A NEW IMPRESSION !good fly ! crazy trip.
POST MORE !
Oh.......you wanted a "critique".......I really don't DO Critiques......I leave that up to people who can't create......like art critics ! hahahahahahahahaha.
I like your "mind thoughts".....totally abstract and surreal.......more like a Dali or Picasso than a Monet or Renoir........IF you know what I mean?
