If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?: Conceptual, Drawing, Painting

About my artwork: To create my art I use many different types of materials such as spray paints,acrylics,oils,oil pastels,collage items & marker pens.I am inspired by my dreams,my hopes & fears,things I love,things I hate,The observations that I make about modern life & living.But I'd have to say that my memories inspire me the most & I usually aim to express a kind of visualization on canvas of various life experiences,sort of documenting the emotions of a certain memory I guess & the nature of the end results leaves the work open to interpretation.

Artists I like: Francis Bacon,Jean Michel Basquiat,Sam Keith,Greg Lamarche,Robert Rauschenberg & many many others!

Interests: Being a dad,reading,movies, music,Boxing,Drinking Green Tea,walking my dog & of course..ART!

Open to all artists in all fine arts media we seek to recognize outstanding quality and diversity in the arts.

The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.

Entry Deadline February 15th 2009.

A solo show next winter 2009 at Bluebird Art House and $1500 to the winner. 1 work in the show for each one of the 3 runner up.
