I am...

an artist living and working in New York City. I had a successful graphic design career for many years. My career has lead me to travel all over the world. The experience has broaden my view of the world and influenced my artwork. I am married and have 2 grown children.

About my artwork

My work is inspired by the streets. I like to made the city come alive through my work. I used frottage or rubbing to remove texture from the streets. And while my work is considered urban, there is a delicate, poetic feel to my images. I have a community arts project www.irubny.com

Interests

I am an amazing latin dancer. I also play a good game of tennis. And as an Italian I can cook up a fabulous meal.
