If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Photography
I am...
Veronica Dell’Agostino was born in Sondrio, Italy, in 1981.
After artistic studies she moved to Milan where she graduated in photography at European Institute of Design in 2004.
She expresses herself with photography, often supported by short infantile poems written by herself.
She’s often the main character of her pictures and her work takes inspiration from fables and childish world, contaminated by a macabre but ironic view.
She currently lives and works in Valtellina, a valley in the north of Italy.
Artists I like
Ray Caesar, Janieta Eyre, Anna Gaskell, Mark Ryden, Camille Rose Garcia, Kiki Smith, Tim Burton, Lise Sarfati, Floria Sigismondi, Larry Clark, Loretta Lux and more...
Love your images, so playful, dark and mysterious, and a little scary at the same time.

Hi Veronica! Welcome to artreview.com :-). It's great to see your photographs up here - I love the sense of narrative and mystery in your works. It makes the viewer wonder what is happening and what will take place next! Great!
Your photos are saturated with playfulness and fantasy.
But frightfully serious at the same time.
You brought the narrative back into the still picture.
True, I did not see your video yet...
