If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?: Conceptual, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video

About my artwork: The viewer: Many people view, then project "what they think they see" in any given piece of relative reality or "art", this approach is common with a world saturated with visual stimulus, it is merely a "projection" onto a work. Unless one can get "inside" the artist's head and really listen to a work, then the work is incomplete. A work of art is only complete once the viewer realises what has happened inside one's mind, causing a shift in consciousness.
The Artist: A true visionary "sees" beyond contemporary fashion or current paradigms based in 3 dimensions, then projects this vision onto one's canvas, hence environment. Like a lighthouse, a true artist is a visionary and delivers something deeper than is apparent. Something timeless. This is not an intellectual paradigm, but is based off an intuitive feeling beyond the current known. Something intangible made tangible.

The main idea It tell about rise up the gasoline price here in my country Indonesia. Video contain 9 minute of gas pomp close up shoot of the digital speedometers.

The visual contain the red and black cloth symbol of two supreme god Brahma and Whisnu, brahma as the protector and Whisnu as the creator. Three of oldskool traditional lamp (petromak lamp) the symbol of before modern era come, one painting oil on canvas and one photograph of the lamp. For all this situation, always the grass root will take the biggest effect. So this is one of the main problems in every develop country.

This art is about to criticisms my religion here in Bali (Bali Hinduism) here every house have a small altar like in the images to put inside our room. It is contain a holly water put on bar of bamboo that we believe will protect and give us healthy, but like modernism world came in every part of our life, bar of bamboo replaced by the coca-cola bottle, red bulls bottle, sprite bottle event the mineral water bottle. Than I remember when I watch the movie God Must Be Crazy, that the boost man head heat by the coca-cola bottle he think that bottle a give from God, but the bottle make the entire family hate each other. What I think here is, all that in the movie are right here in front of my life, It kind a ironic and paradox in my religious believe. So that give title God mustn’t be Crazy Anymore.
