Henri KARTMANN, Photographer?
Self-educated photographer Henri KARTMANN is attracted since his beginnings by graphics and the abstraction.
The catch of sight him sufficient step, it polishes its pullings at the photographic laboratory, the search of a poetic and pictorial hidden level.
Since its first exposure in 1969, it seeks in incontestably concrete stereotypes a form of personal and creative abstraction.
After one period of photographic abstinence of 20 year old meadows, it
exposes since 1995 in France and abroad (Spain, the USA, Russia ). Its images were selected by several photographic reviews and it published in 2005
"Effect of greenhouses or the esthetics of the remainders".
Prize winner of "Ultimate Eye Foundation" of San Francisco, this series was the object into 2005 of an exposure to "Peninsula Museum of Art" of San Francisco.
It exposes in May 2007 to the museum of the photography of Nijni Novgorod (Russia)
It is currently exposed at "Photo-originale" in Paris.
