kOOii International Artist Support & Promotion

I am the founder of kOOii International Artist Support & Promotion. kOOii is an autonomous Sri Lanka based foundation specializing in contemporary art, with a focus on works by artists from Asia.
Founded in 2007 our goal is to act as an intermediary between Sri Lankan artists and a global audience.
This way kOOii hopes to enable local artists to make a decent living out of their chosen profession and get greater exposure through our network. kOOii is not a registered charity nor do we give away money. The idea is to help artists build a name and network so they can focus on their work.
Despite the non-profit philosophy, we make sure to distill the global from the local. This means no traditional paintings, but true contemporary art (including photography) by upcoming as well as established visual artists.
