If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
a painter working in encaustic and oil. I am also a psychotherapist specializing in issues of identity, attachment and trauma.
About my artwork
My work is nonrepresentational, though the occasional landscape sneaks in there.
Artists I like
Ross Bleckner; Eva Hesse; Cy Twombly; Susan Rothenberg; Merrill Wagner; Brice Marden; Lloyd Martin; Pat Steir; Ellsworth Kelly; Joan Mitchell; Joan Snyder; Franz Kline; Louise Bourgeois...
The centre of the artworld is
nowhere and everywhere

Hi Pam
Found your work via a mutual friend on Artreview (NevicaProject).
Just checked out your website and wanted to say how much I enjoyed your work.
I have dabbled with encaustic in the past myself but not quite managed to reach the same sensuous standards!
Obviously practice makes perfect!
You have inspired me to get out the pots and pans again and give it another go!
So thanks
Keith
