I am fully aware of the effects of poverty, being the eldest of 14 siblings where 11 survive
today. Our generation has risen from abject poverty and lack of education and the story goes on. When we are conceived we are pell mell into whatever awaits. The artist brings a greater sensitivity to imagination tempered by the intellect than the masses. It seems now that there is a large mass of artists afloat. I took a vow of poverty at an early age, after I realized the idea of becoming a millionaire involved much more than I could control. The vow of poverty is driven by the appreciation of what we have as opposed to what we might have. Enjoy your meal if you are lucky to have one if not share that fact with someone who is more fortunate and offer a trade a piece of art for piece of bread.
Peace be at your side.

Thanks James. You really are very kind. I find poverty helps focus the mind and working sure beats worrying about it. Ha!!!
Stay well. Keep working....

James I'm not sure why they come up as attatchments, it has to have something to do with the format!

I have had a few people question me over it.

I just upload straight from my folders where I keep the images.x

Hi James, thank heavens for children, will you get his advice on your choice of work for the project?

Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you noticed the composition. It's why I took the photo. I wish more people had done. For those less attentive and tuned in than yourself, your observation has prompted me to red flag the composition by changing the title. Thanks again.

Hi James - Thank you for what you wrote! Perhaps as humans, living in different parts of the world, both involved in painting, both involved in photography........ the coincidences are not so strong.

But! They are there. Some people prefer to focus on strictly paintings. Others working the hands in scultpure etc. People involved in video tend to want EVERYTHING (so they can edit it to make a stream from image chaos - the stream or final cut becomes the print).

Very briefly - I must thank 48073 for presenting pots and pans in a kitchen as compositions in a gallery. I wanted to make the [idea] or random objects in my kitchen where i sometimes paint 'merge' with my paintings and also 'merge' with a wine bottle I had used for a series of sketches.

Therefore..... some people use their gallery strictly as a portfolio. I like to use it as a platform to actually sketch out the ideas for the paintings themselves. So the viewer gets both images of finished products (like one on an exhibition wall) but also gets a view into the process. This is my intention.

Look forward to hear from you again,
Luke :)
