I have exhibited at Appledore Arts Festival this year and it was a really exciting group exhibition for my 2nd year end of year degree show.
I am exhibiting at the moment at The Hot House, Somerset College conference ctr, Taunton. Its a run off from the Appledore exhibition entitled 'CORE 2.5'
My practice is all about sense of place and feeling part of the landscape, The Earth. I work form memories, my minds eye and the spirituality I feel of being in and of the ancient landscape. I strive to convey this through my work. The marks I make are intuative. I travel over the canvass leaving impressions of journeys, trackways, memories, energy, stillness and hopefully the inherent beauty of a place.
I feel your work has a lot of these elements, the eye travels around the contours on a meditative journey.

I love the view you take for your work, im very interested in my landscape too and local to the Southwest. If you get time have a look at my work and leave a comment.
Good luck with you work
Andrea
I was thinking of doing some abstract paintings of a Hill close by here called Pendle Hill in Lancashire, it's wg=here all the witches used to come from, in the tradtional tales of Lancashire Witches, it's just always cold to stand up there to paint!
Anyway, if you get time, please visit our group for artists here on art review, perhaps up load a work?
