If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
a part Canadian 'escape' artist, who loves music, books, travel and is allergic to convention.
About my artwork
It really depends on my frame of mind and listening habits at the time. The landscape work is often accompanied by all things ambient/post-rock, whereas the portraiture oftens involves a heavy dose of guitar.
Artists I like
Banksy, Paul Nash, Colin Self, William Blake, Munch, Turner, Constable, Lichtenstein, all the Marvel/DC Comics' artists and many of the artists featured in 'Juxtapoz'.
Hello Russ Anthony,
Thank you for the comments on my photos. Yes the erie photo of the front fender light on the Harley is hard to understand until one knows what it is. The other "Dead Last" is a painting I did recently; acrylic on canvas.
I very much enjoyed viewing your works. I love the whole water, earth and air motion. Very grounding and moving in my opinion. I dabble in creating pieces not unlike yours as well. I find it to be quite hypnotizing when "in the flow of the moment" as the brush needs to continuosly flow naturally for a good length of time yet at the same time be controlled.
