About my artwork
Since my childhood I had not the opportunity to work but I liked drawing and the things concerning that art
I started working at the Institute of Fine Arts in Sulaimany where I initiated my route of working and as my preference abiding to progress further.
I never stopped reading and follow up in order not to reside within a conventional framework or functioning. Rejection never disappoints me from working or hinders my way of working. For me, I believe disappointment and hindrance is ignorance and negligence from the activities and progresses that are going around our globalized world.
Within globalization, all the cultures are equally important for functioning and never distinguish to say our culture or others culture while one is working. Hence, I believe rules don’t exist, and staying within a single site is a difficulty for me.
My blissful and happiest moments are the ones that I’m working since I’m free in my thinking and reflections. Consequently, working is the constant action of creating contacts among people produced in a global world. Every theme is equally significant not giving weight and consideration to merely one.

Dear Azar,
I am a freelance curator from Iran working for a producer in Denmark to help make a commercial video to be viewed in a gallery in Denmark that shows primarily young graffitti artists. I've been collecting videos and working with International artists for the past month and am now looking for an artist in Baghdad to shoot the -easy, not very long- footage. Willing to pay 5000$ - 7000$ and the video must be done within three weeks from now. What I need is footage that has some streetaction in it so it is visible that it is in Baghdad that is it is important to see landmarks as statues and so on - I will later come up with some exact instructions - but it need not necessarily be grafitti, try to watch two videos on youtube 1 is Black Eyed Peas "Where is the love" - the original one where you see a flyer with a questionmark on it popping up all the time - here it could be some homemade flyers or posters with the slogan "Blend the world" written - I can also provide some t-shirts with the slogan on them...2 is Marc Jacobs Icon Video "Not so cool Kids" - it has this great action and flow - but it is not necessary to make a story like that just pick out elements for inspiration, and together with that it would be good to have some additional material from the same places taken by mobilephone - it gives a great effect.
Do you think you or any of your friends in Baghdad can help me? Please let me know as soon as you can if any of you are interested so I will give you details about the video.
My email address is sohrabmk@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Wow, thank you for looking at my work. It is very much appreciated. I'm intreagued by the work on your website. especially the land art as I used to think in those ways. I still do I guess in many ways, only through a camera lens. Are there any possibilities of getting invloved? I would consider it an honour given the recent history and context of your location.
oh yeah azar that's interesting indeed)))))i want to know what's that all about as i have no idea yet. you can send it to my mail tata_fmn@mail.ru or get it here on the wall.)) please.
