About my artwork
I am a multi-media Artist, using Printmaking, Painting, Photography and Installation Art. I explore the elemental forces that exist, i.e. gravity, creating an abstract language of realism. This explores a dialogue between construction and deconstruction, found in the Nature vs. Culture debate. This is an ongoing process in flux. In order to make sense of this process, I extend and explore this through his experiments with his “Gravity Paintings”. This involves a combination of exploration with investigation, adding an element of “chance”. This is achieved within a controlled environment, via the movement of paint between the horizontal and vertical axis in a series of paintings and prints.
