About my artwork: Enrique Azocar’s body of work in style, technique and colours culminate into exquisite depictions of the human condition. Contemporary in execution, the subjects resonate throughout time and place and depict with sensitive mastery the quest for understanding of humanity’s purpose and consequences. They are a contrast in all that is right with humanity and all that has gone so horrifically wrong. Their substance lies not only in the imagery but in the hope and resolve of awareness. Masterfully placed within each line each brushstroke is an affirmation and in quiet contemplation of each piece one will find the truths revealing themselves in good time and good measure. It is by the gentle coaxing of Enrique Azocar’s modern approach to life’s complexities that our purpose as guardians of one another emerges.
