does art have the intrinsic power to heal us? or rather...are all artists bad before they become artists?

To your questions, Joe: 1) Prison, no. 2) Nuthouse, no. 3) Suicide, no. 4) Self pity, yes, though it creates self pity, too. This zeroes out. 5) Poverty, ah, see 4. 6) Office jobs, some of us have ... Continue

Proposition

One can lose one's place without trying.

Absence balances presence.

Proposition

This sentence is not a proposition. A line or mark of denial across an image draws attention. Attention may not translate to meaning.

Proposition

1, 3, 7 and 11, for example, are prime. Art, too, is prime. Not all artwork is.

I have reading your work and is for me much interesting.
i will start with the first "proposition"
Yes... is not a Sentence, it's a word, and like all words than we know, or we can build, has and interesting effect, wich is, the significant superimpose over the meaning and always moves, as if they were independent.
It's so difficult thinking about something without meaning, we so need a great effort to understand.
Dispose of meaning is a difficult task, because a meaning leads to another and be keeping in perpetual movement.
Then the effect of meaning is inherent to the language and not a social practice.

Sorry about my english.

Best wishes to you

Hi D Lee Ted,

have added a new experimental video/animation to my site. Would love to hear you feedback. In particular I would enjoy hearing your feedback as you evidently have quite a bit of experience with technology,

As you can probably see the majority of my work as based around mixed media painting so this video is a 'step in a new direction'!

Best from Luke :)

Yes - I like what you sent me as a homage to Miro.

Is it possible I can ask how you make these images?
