Artist
If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
working on a type of work i call African Haida, a mixture of all early cultures with mostly African and Pacific Northwest Indian influences. I have been painting these images for a while now, and find that the work is constantly evolving. I am New Mexico resident aspiring to make a mark in the future of painting.
About my artwork
My work projects a mystic influence on its viewer, as i believe in the early stages of art this was the intent of art to begin with. I am seeking representation in other states besides New Mexico, I would like to be able to continue working on these works and have a very prolific career as an artist in the future
Artists I like
i like many to mention, but will try to mention a few...
All the early artists of all civilizations whom no records exist of who they were... in the modern and contemporary scene...
Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Baree, Vicente Esteban, to name a few in the modern era, in the contemporaries, I like the works of many artists residing in my small town named Silver City.
Interests
Painting is my primary interest... I live to paint.
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
The Natural History Museum in New York
The centre of the artworld is
nowhere and everywhere, another city

Hiya Kourosh. How are you keeping? How goes the work? Thanks for kind comments. Please make some money soon and buy my work !!! All of it would do quite nicely, thank you.

Yes, well spotted. You are right about Baldessari. I am a big fan but the blue blob and Baldessari crept into this series as an accidental lighting effect above the head of the old geezer in the original source photo of #9 (meet interesting new friends) which I have subsequently enhanced greatly. It was a snapshot of an elderly couple at a fairground - they looked totally lost as it was frenetic, noise and lights a-go-go with a bullet. But when I saw the blue blob I thought "Bugger me - bloody Baldessari is invading my photos" As an homage to JB, I though I'd add it to the other images. It took on a life of it's own! Great!
Keep in touch!

Such beautiful work! Looking at your art made me feel as though I was discovering significant mythical and ritualistic artifacts.
