- writing a memoir for the moment, not because I'm famous but to touch more deeply into my own material through story. I write, mostly poetry though am moving more into personal essay and prose poem form. As an artist I have worked in various media and though I have a love of form and of function I have a conceptual bent. I love audio art when done well.
- Artists I like
- Janine Antoine, Kiki Smith, Anne Hamilton, and most all the artists in the Art 21 series which I am watching right now. I love not only the appreciation of materiality but the lack of centralized ego and the following an idea to see where it might lead, the risk taking, the interactive quality of the installation work, that the artist is a conduit for an enlarging enlivening experience.
