I am currently an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Film, Video, and Photographic Arts at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

I received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Indiana University Northwest one in Theatre in 1990 and one in Photography 1992.
My Masters was in Photography at Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1995.

My work was presented in the17th Annual International Los Angeles Photographic Art Exposition, in Santa Monica, California, Photo Miami 2007 in Miami, Florida, and most recently Altered Landscape, a two person exhibition at Summit Gallery, in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

I just received a 2008 Individual Excellence Award grant from the Ohio Arts Council.

Last summer I participated in a thematic residency "Imaginary Places", at Banff Center for the Arts, Banff, Alberta, Canada. This coming summer I will be doing a residency at I-Park in East Haddam, Connecticut.
