I am...: Ariën van Lavieren (1967) graduated from both the Royal Academy The Hague (1989-1993, painting, drawing and graphics: lithography and woodcut) and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam (1993-1994, lithography, etching, silkscreen and woodcut).
In 1992 he received the Erasmus Scholarship, Academy of Arts Kiel (Germany).
He currently is based in Amsterdam, working as a professional artist (painting, drawing and graphics) . He was engaged in several Solo and Group Exhibitions throughout the Netherlands, Canada and Bolivia.
