If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?: Conceptual, Digital, Drawing, Installation, Photography, Printmaking

I am...: a single man, with his eyes on the horizon, sometimes, and sometimes my eyes are on other horizons and possibilities. I am a dreamer a scoundrel and a visualist..., who explores possibilities.

About my artwork: I have no where to start with this, as I have changed and shifted considerably over the last thirty years...there are common themes that run throughout my work. Naturally some of my work defines my psyche at the moment, be it caught up in some apocalyptic nightmare, some utopian dream or memory, some shock oriented passive aggressive display with a double side to it...I cannot define my work as it stands on its own, and there's a universal bit of every man in it...fear and love , light and darkness, those voids in between. In those spaces between the forest and the field, is where life exists in abundance, and oftentimes the art I make is focused on this relationship...

Artists I like: There's a slew of artistss I like. Most of them are not fashionable these days...some are. Edwin Dickinson, Arthur Dove, Anselm Kiefer, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Gauguin, Earl Stroh(mentor), and too many others to mention.

Interests: I enjoy the natural world, the connection that ties us to this ordered chaos, I enjoy kitesurfing, natural landscaping and growing alpine, native and edible plants...fascinated by people, their art, their social makeup, seeing thru the false self in others and myself...getting to the heart of the matter, and bringing dead objects to life...

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: I am going to get out of this crackerbox and go see

The centre of the artworld is: New York, London, LA, Berlin, Beijing, my studio, another city
