For one month only the Solo Eye Gallery in The Art Works Galleries, Newcastle upon Tyne will be dimming the lights to present some of the nations most exciting multimedia works. The Exhibition will run from 06/11/08 to 02/12/08 with a launch night on 06/11/08.

We are looking for the most original animations and short films from artists, animators and filmmakers across the UK. We aim to present fifty short films in the final showreel which will be exhibited in the Solo Eye Gallery throughout November.

To Submit Work:
• We can only accept films submitted in uncompressed .avi format. Pieces submitted in other formats will be returned.
• Maximum length of footage is 5 minutes per piece, minimum length is 1 minute.
• Work MUST be clearly labeled with your name, title & running time of piece.
• Please include 2 stills (JPEGS please) from film piece that can be used to promote the exhibition.
• A stamped addressed envelope must be supplied for the return of work.
• A £15 non refundable administration fee per piece must be submitted with work. Filmmakers may submit up to 3 pieces. Cheques should be made payable to The Art Works Galleries.
