Is cryonics a science-fiction?

Is cryonics, you know freezing the humans for some time in ice then unfreezing them in the future, a science-fiction?

I don't think it is. People pay lots of money to do the following:

If not that, then here is their second, most beloved dream and/or option:

And although that's just sci-fi yet, very soon it too will become a reality! Why?

Hear the professional opinion of Dr. Michio Kaku:

He is NOT kidding, pals! People DO hope to be "resurrected" in better times, or get cloned, or to self-evolve into anything that would make them immortal. That's why they still believe in God even in the 21st century. Why? Because IF Adam was created (legend or not!) immortal, then death is just a curse--something taken away from us because of his disobedience in the Earthly Paradise. Some believe that this whole thing is playing God or imitating the Creator. However, nowadays most theologians believe this is jut a newer, deeper, and more profound (even liberating) understanding of the Biblical term: "Created according to the image and likeness of God." Frankly, science is on the verge to explain (even demonstrate) that this is exactly what we are: divinely constructed "biomachines" ;-)

PS Read a finny sci-fi story I wrote on the subject, posted in my Blog: "Bobby"
