Hi Jan,

Your editing have become so much refined. The videos look great and very interesting. The students have made some witty comments. I prefer when we can't hear you asking the questions, it is more dynamic.

Is there a site where I could refer somebody to watch al the videos together?

Thanks Alicia! I think I still need even more refining, but I wanted to get these comments to everyone as soon as I could. It was a bit more problematic with the translations - having seen yours, I feel mine is very rough -- but it gets the message across.

I will consider posting them as a group on my website. I'll try to do this in the next week.

It seems that Corpse #2 was particularly popular, as well as Corpse #5 -- the student who talked about Per's video also talked about Dracula. I cut that, as it sort of deviated from Per's video, but he should know his segment "Beware the Beast Man" generated a whole discussion on horror films and literature.

Hi JAN and thanks,
It would be nice to have this (yours) clips and others clips for the exhibition Here in sweden next year, fullsize videos. No hurry we can discuss it later.
I showed the corpses last week in a videoart course in an artschool that i teached in.
I dident have the time to make such a nice videos about the students comments.
The corpses are very useful in teaching.

Interesting to here that there is so many comments about the nudity in the videos.
Are american people shy?

lucas is also using the videos to teach. yesterday I met him and he raised some interesting questions about the project. too bad he won't have time to write an essay - his texts are really good.

Hi, Niclas,

I think the postal system is pretty fast, so I will make a full quality dvd of these to mail to you for the formwork exhibition. I am wondering about formats, as I have been able to play both NTSC and PAL on my dvd players that have been manufactured in the last five years - seems like it recognizes both without issue. Is that true for you?

Americans are so diverse, it's hard to describe them in one word, like "shy." Freud would probably say "repressed." My students are mostly from very small towns in America. I think cosmopolitan cities like NY or SF may not have the same fixation on nudity as they do?! It's a very interesting topic, I think.

It´s the same with the DVD players here.
If you just send me your original files in .mov NTSC (DV or H.264) i compress them in the format i need.
Then i have the options to do something here.
