jan,
what a pleasure to watch this!
you're the best. thanks so much!
I regret now not doing something like this at Monkeytown.... I just recorded the screenings, but I should have interviewed people too.
I think it's very important to document our exhibitions very well, in order to share with the others from the group.

Your absolute right Kika. I must make the video from formverk opening.
I found a wireless here at the congress in Berlin, it´s a funny way to comunicate with you all from all around the world.
And Jan, nice to see your documentation.

Hello, all,

Because this installation will be up for a few weeks, I will try to get some more reactions, particularly after the theatre style screening. It would be great to get people to talk about the project at all the venues. Kika, I know it was hard in NYC for people like me, as the screening didn't end until after 11pm or so, and I had early plans for the next day. In any case, I think we have a great record of our written commentary for that one. Still pictures and text often tell the story as well as video capture. Nic's Formverk website and Alicia's coverage makes for a broader understanding of the whole project.

I couldn't persuade some people to let me record their comments, only because they were shy. One guy started talking to me about seeing a new meaning to the term "rabbit punch" after seeing Ulf's video. I heard the young girls I later interviewed in the video talking about that particular video as well - sorry I didn't get that recorded, Ulf, but you made an impression.

I made a brochure describing ECVP with artists' names and info on the project. I have uploaded a file on the ning site so you can see that - it's a simple fold over "folio" kind of brochure. The audience interaction with Exquisite Corpse drawings was moderately successful, but I assume it will accumulate with lots of drawings over time. I will try to post that info so you can see what I wrote about that. A lot just lifted from a website on the Exquisite Corpse and the free download of Breton's manifesto. I have bound it into a simple book for people to peruse if they desire.

And Alicia, thanks for your good wishes - I'm into the third week of a respiratory ailment that just won't go away. Staying in bed this morning, but got to go install work for the art faculty show at Elmira. Sometimes it feels like I'm on the conveyor belt of some mad, matrix driven reality! I love it when I'm healthy, but this is getting a little much for me with all the health issues. I am thinking positively. Seeing how curious, if not totally puzzled, the crowd was last night about ECVP, makes me feel all our efforts are continually being recognized and appreciated. We all should feel a great sense of accomplishment!

Now for a nap!
