Your words are very moving.
I also feel that this project gave me a BIG boost.
Suddenly, after a quite period [I call them 'dry times' (they are not exactly dry as sometimes I feel as crying and sometimes I do...)], I got this creative energy flowing and I can stop working.
For me also this is a VERY treasured time, and I hope it will last.
Thanks to you and the others. :)

it's great to know the project is also affecting you so deeply! it makes me very happy.
I just posted a comment there, at the roundup page. I think it would be nice if everyone of the project made some comment there too....

First of all, I am in agreement with those who've commented that the exposure and attention brought by inclusion in Round-up no. 13 is good for the project.

Regarding '...nonsense...'
I don't believe that "applying this technique to video" creates any nonsense not inherent in the technique itself. To my mind, the semi-blindness of the method, whether using video, drawings, or words, intentionally creates a nonsensical basis, out of which amusing and intriguing 'narratives' serendipitously emerge. That's the point. If we were trying to avoid nonsense, why would we hide most of the material from ourselves?!

Also, I agree with Ulf about being prepared for negative criticism. If we can avoid hearing negative opinions as personal insults, we'll be more able to make use of such opinions, even if we disagree with them, to help the project mature. Otherwise, we may end up passed out at the bar, right Ulf? Ha!

Perhaps we could establish a separate discussion thread for posting and discussing relevant critical opinions.

Thank you Alicia, she is a sweetie that Kastanje, she melt my heart.
4 girls. Imagine me when they are all teenagers. I need a shed in the garden of my future country house. I'm not staying in this city flat with the tiny bathroom we have. With 4 teenage girls I'll have to pee in the kitchen zink. I must admit I'm very proud that she and her mother made it to the homepage of artreview. You read my answers to your questionaire, she was actually spot on this Laura. Usually all those subtle things goes pretty much unnoticed as you all probably knows. I was very surprised.

It's terrific-fying actually. Being a father is so rewarding. You can have fun teasing your kids all day long while watching love and affection grow in the whole family. I dig it.
