update:

corpse#4 - still with Brad
corpse#5 - ambuja's starting
corpse#6 - john's finished and sending to arthur

corpse#4 is behind schedule... the others are doing good.

I'm going tonight to Canada and on the 12th I'll be in NY with Josh & Zachary - looking forward to have my first real meeting with some corpse members!

Tonight I met with the other members of our local artist collective Rural Research Laboratories in Elmira, NY, and everyone agreed to ask Exquisite Corpse to be our featured video installation in the fall (Oct through mid Nov). Here is the link to our space so you get an idea of what it's like. We are excited to host this work! We have different ways to screen - projection, large flat screen, and several smaller flat screens. We can decide what's best later - just wanting everyone to know of another exhibition opportunity. P.S. - Our next installation artist is Wilka Roig who is offering "A Plan against Loneliness." The audience will sit with her on a particular bench, discuss loneliness, be photographed, and invited to watch and participate in the darkroom process and matting and framing on the wall. Surveillance cameras will record this happening (Fluxus inspired yellow bench - anyone know about that in Sweden? "Some yellow seats in all parks, squares and subway trains, where people who want to be talked to can sit down. In every city all over the world.”- Bengt af Klintberg, May 1967) - more publicity on the website soon.

Brad- Do you know Chris Sollars and 667 SHOTWELL in SF? Chris is a friend of the Rural Research Laboratories founder Tom Oberg. Chris and I were two of several video artists in a project called Mobile Matinee several summers ago. I know SF is a big city, but sometimes the art world is small...Jan

You know, I have to admit, although I used to be quite involved here, I've been kind of out of touch with the local experimental video scene for the last few years since I've been making babies, raising wee ones, and, before that, in NYC for several years. So, it's very nice to be getting back out there again.

This is really exciting! Thanks a lot, Jan, for helping promoting and sharing our work. I love when our "virtual" efforts invade real life! wonderful.
I personally like the idea of showing the videos side by side in 3 screens, either projected or flat screens. but we'll talk about it when it's time.
I checked the website and even though I wish there was more info about the rural research labs, it does seem very interesting!
