do you do RAINBOWS?

Rainbows pop up in my work sometimes, i fight the urge to let them, I've come to despise them, it's a desire that needs to be curbed. We must fight these demons of light–rainbows–hmmph. next it'll be unicorns... um, I'll be right back.

Do rainbows pop up in your work too?
Xrays, light spectacles of some kind?
(how 'bout unicornz?)

Permalink Reply by Meghan McKnight on 8 May 2008 at 4:38pm: Sometimes I feel like my painting process is a constant struggle to keep the rainbows at bay, alot of my work is almost monochromatic because I feel like I need to restrain colour, sometimes the rainbows win, that's when I dub them "carnivalesque".

I enjoy the rainbow elements in your attached images, especially "ground illumination", it's like rainbow anarchy, very appealing.
