Submission for the 2010 Guggenheim + YouTube video Biennale. A video, photography, art and music montage. Enable sound before viewing.

Intention:
To identify selected present paths, patterns, layers, directions and challenges. Some enjoy safe, inspiring and playful lives. Some experience hunger, disease, disaster, child labour and warfare. Superficial reality shows are increasingly popular as opposed to poverty and environmental challenges with little commercial value. The Internet is providing insight but propaganda and restrictions is making it hard to establish explicit truth. Old superpowers are gone and new arise, which is changing the power structures of the world.

A circus is commonly a travelling company of performers including acrobats, clowns, trained animals, tightrope walkers, jugglers, ringmasters etc. A suitable description of mankind as such. Looking back, out and ahead. Life is a circus.
