Yes Men seem to be offering their activist art on the open market for any campaigning organisation with a capitalist target – be it government or multinational – that might want to harness, for a fee, their surreal brand of protest. In the past duo Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno have mocked up newspapers which they distribute to commuters as genuine news, and posed as spokespeople from various companies – delivering bogus speeches and TV appearances that stray way beyond the corporate line. For any organisation wanting a slice of this insurrectionary action, the Yes Men
website is offering brainstorming sessions over Skype ($1,000) and meetings in a secret underground headquarters "followed by a white-water swim with the boys" ($3,000). The campaign aims to raise $50,000 so that they can up the ante of their practice.
