New Chinati Foundation director appointed

Thomas Kellein has been appointed the director of the Chinati Foundation, it has been announced. Kellein's appointment comes after the retirement of Marianne Stockebrand, who has been with the museum for six years. Kellein is an authority on Donald Judd – the artist who founded the complex of galleries in Marfa, Texas in 1986 – and has been the director at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld in Germany for the past 14 years.
