LUMA Foundation founder joins Tate board

Founder of the LUMA Foundation, Maja Hoffman, has been made a Tate trustee, the gallery has announced. The Luma Foundation supports Kunsthalle Zurich and Kunsthalle Basel, the Fotomuseum Winterthur, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Venice Biennale, Artangel and the Serpentine Gallery in London. It is also involved in planning o the Parc des Ateliers in Arles. In her right she is also a major collector.
