Hauser & Wirth take roller rink premises

Hauser & Wirth has announced it will open a second New York gallery in the autumn. Coinciding with its twentieth anniversary Iwan and Manuela Wirth's outfit has located a suitable 23,000 square foot space on West 18th Street. The stable and garage structure, which formerly housed legendary discotheque and roller rink The Roxy, is a block away from Chelsea galleries Lombard Freid Projects, David Zwirner and The Kitchen. This space will work alongside their current Upper East Side digs.
