Today I woke up around 5:30am to get working on stuff due with our agency in Iceland. I finished up around 6:00pm, what a day off. Actually it was another relatively quiet day (other than work) as the house was empty and it was just me for a while.
Today in the news, Al Qaeda claims responsibility for the thwarted Christmas Day attack on U.S. jet; anti-government protests turn deadly as 15 demonstrators reportedly killed in clashes with Iran security forces.
I’m worried we may now be entering another wave of control based on the premise of security that we will only recognize retrospectively. If the terrorist’s objective is to chip away at the freedoms we have here in the U.S. I think they are winning and even worse I think we are helping. And I still wonder who will hold that ultimate power?
